We didn’t love all of Ron and Tom together, but we’d listen to Nacho Average podcast.
Today’s must see video: All of Leslie Knope’s best impressions from JFK to Rodney Dangerfield.
I know I should probably be stressing out over Parks and Recreation still being in limbo for a Season 5 (at least as of this writing) while deciding whether “Win, Lose, or Draw” was better than last year’s Season 3 finale, “Li’l Sebastian,” but honestly, all I want to do right now is sit in a high-quality leather chair and reflect on a season of television that made me happy.

Just in case we didn’t love Donna enough, we got an entire episode where she and Tom pampered themselves to the max. Honestly, that would have been enough for us. But adding Ben to the mix and showing him squirm at the very idea of relaxing, then dressing him up as Batman and having him cry? That’s better than any acupuncture we’re ever had.
Our apologies to Champion, but the best Andy and April moment of the season came before they adopted their three-legged canine, when they took a spurt-of-the-moment road trip to the Grand Canyon so that Andy could check seeing it off of his bucket list. Getting a glimpse of April’s softer side was sweet, but what made it really special was Andy asking where all the presidents were.
On that note, we did thorough enjoy watching Ben resign in disgrace and fall into a deep depression before he got his act together. After all, it allowed us to see Jean-Ralphio in a mentor position, learn about the Low Cal Calzone Zone and see Ben in a Letters to Cleo shirt while making a three-second Claymation video. And all of his nerdy references about Game of Thrones are fantastic, as is his fear of cops.
I’m just trying to say that it’d be ideal if everyone and their moms watched this show together to help build a better Pawnee. Though, it does make I… sad.
