Ray Romano’s Faith in TV Dramas
Romano has been fantastic in an honestly great and entirely underwatched season of Parenthood, and if it gets canned, we have reason to believe he’ll never return to TV again. It’s just too soon after universally underrated Men of a Certain Age was taken from him. Isn’t everybody supposed to love him, or does that sentiment exclude network executives?

Max’s Inevitable Impeachment
Face it, now that Max (or, more accurately, Kristina) got his precious vending machines, his student council classmates are going to rebel and overturn his presidency… especially after they learn that rather than their beloved American candy, the machines are stocked with disgusting healthy alternatives. You can already see the Nixon parallels in this storyline.

And, okay, I can deal with a lot of the ridiculous melodrama Parenthood serves us, but Max getting showered with Skittles (who has to be a sponsor for this show, right?) by his peers is where I draw the line. I genuinely felt embarrassed for watching that scene, which is really a shame, because there was this great moment in the beginning of the episode where we got a glimpse into Adam and Kristina’s life as a normal couple with a normal kid (where can I download that Dora song, by the way?) and then this is what it was bookended with. For shame!
