Scandal. Their date/not-date/date was perfectly timed with sexual tension and lots of awkwardness. Glad that the writers decided to drag this out, but not just leave it as a big elephant in the room. They are talking about their feelings — sorta — and touching each other’s boobs (well, him touching hers more so than the other way around). I, for one, hope that their relationship takes its time to unfold, and I’m happy with their middle school dance rules for now: “Three feet on the floor and no body hugs.”

Also, this whole thing introduced us to Big Bob, who might be our new favorite character. Anyone that’s gamely willing to kiss Nick to help him out of an awkward jam is okay in our book.

Can we pray for the return of Angie in Season 3? I know everyone wants Nick and Jess together, but watching him uncomfortably ride on the back of her motorcycle and try to shoot guns was just a good time.
