Speaking of contracts, Sookie sleeps near her Warlow marriage contract from that time her ancestors sold her to a very old vampire for no reason that we know. It glows sometimes, it’s very disconcerting; it’s funny how both Stackhouses hate vampires now because of Warlow, but in opposite ways of each other, so they are still fighting. So yes, having decided vampires are bullshit, she rescinds Eric’s invitation, which results in the most amazing thing of the entire episode, which I don’t even have to tell you because the second that it happened the internet became 85% just gifs of it happening.

What It Sounds Like: A conflicted Bond must decide whether to turn a killer over to the justice system, where he may or may not be executed, or carry out the death sentence himself with his license to kill.
What It Actually Means: Um… to be honest, we’re not sure. Maybe it’s connected to the whole voodoo thing that runs through this spectacularly politically incorrect adventure? (For the record, it’s just treated as a throwaway line in the original Fleming novel.) On the other hand, that combination of words did inspire Paul McCartney to write one of the most memorable Bond themes ever, so that counts as a win.
