“And the New Boss” was basically a plot-device of an episode, its obvious purpose being to prepare the cupcake shop for opening — and to pad it out, we got thrown a random and lazily-written guest star (Abby Elliott) along with a few gross jokes about sex, because of course we do. It wasn’t 2 Broke Girls’ finest installment, but hey, it didn’t have any Amish boner jokes, right?

I don’t even know where to begin with how bad this episode was on an overall level, but I would like to state for the record that with each and every installment, 2 Broke Girls is becoming more and more clearly like a contemporary Married… with Children — and I do mean the later seasons.

Teach Us More About New York Clearly no one on the writing or set-designing staffs has been to New York City since the ’70s, but they seem very keen on portraying how dirty, gritty and dangerous it is. Next season, Caroline and Max could trek to Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island and mock all of the multi-cultural low-income people in those boroughs.
