The Doctor, Doctor Who
Grounds for Firing: Yes, the Time Lord has generally done a good job cleaning up the various messes that can complicate time and space. Still, he’s slipped up more than a few times over the course of his lengthy career; that, combined with the fact that he’s nearing retirement age, (the franchise turns 50 in 2013) means that he should probably be eased out of the job fairly soon, before his skills really start to fail him.
Hired As: A real doctor, of course! Preferably as the GP in a picturesque English village, where he can diagnose ailments and nip out to the pub for a pint like any normal British country doc.
