The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Once you adjust to the fact that this is a lower-stakes adventure than the one chronicled in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Peter Jackson’s highly anticipated return to Middle Earth becomes a marvelous piece of escapism, once again immersing viewers in a lavish fantasy world populated by wizards, dwarves, elves, trolls, giant spiders, hobbits, and all other manner of mythical creatures.
