Downtown Abbey and The Vampire Diaries We’ve got a sneaking suspicion that the Dowager Countess is really a bloodsucker. Could she be an Original? Somehow related to Klaus? We could even see a Damon-centric flashback, where he visits the Abbey (everyone is so trusting there, so they’d clearly let him in) and he could have his pick of either Edith or Mary, who would pounce on an available man, vampire or not.
